Wynonie Harris [Billed as 'Wynonie "Blues" Harris with Oscar Pettiford & his All Stars']
San Francisco singer, songwriter Nick Gravenites died Sept 18th, 2024 at age 85. Originally growing up in Chicago, he regularly hung out in the clubs where Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy played. He wrote the standard 'Born in Chicago'. In 1967 he formed the 'Electric Flag' with PBBB guitarist Mike Bloomfield, Barry Goldberg and Buddy Miles. According to music writer Joel Selvin, Gravenites was "the original San Francisco connection for the Chicago crowd."

David Charles Olney was a folk/country singer/songwriter, based in Nashville since 1973. In the early 1980s, he formed "The X-Rays", and recorded two albums for Rounder; they appeared on "Austin City Limits", opened for major acts (Elvis Costello), and broke up in 1985. He recorded more than 20 albums over his five-decade career, and his songs have been performed by many artists, including Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Linda Ronstadt, Steve Young and Del McCoury. He died January 18, 2020 in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, while playing a song onstage at the "30A Songwriter Festival".
He was briefly in the group Lone Justice (1985 - 1986) and was also a member of X from 1986 to 1995. where he replaced Billy Zoom Also, the son of songwriter/ folk musician Terry Gilkyson.
