Guitarist Danny Kalb died Nov 19th, 2022, at age 80. He is best known for being a founding member of The Blues Project {from July 1965 to Aug 1967, and rejoined in 1969}. In 1964, he played second guitar on Phil Ochs's 'All the News That's Fit to Sing', and 'Judy Collins's Fifth Album'. Also in 1964, he was on the Dave Van Ronk LP, 'Ragtime Jug Stompers' . // Other artists on the LP include Goeff Muldaur, Eric Von Schmidt, John Koerner and Dave Van Ronk /

David Charles Olney was a folk/country singer/songwriter, based in Nashville since 1973. In the early 1980s, he formed "The X-Rays", and recorded two albums for Rounder; they appeared on "Austin City Limits", opened for major acts (Elvis Costello), and broke up in 1985. He recorded more than 20 albums over his five-decade career, and his songs have been performed by many artists, including Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Linda Ronstadt, Steve Young and Del McCoury. He died January 18, 2020 in Santa Rosa Beach, FL, while playing a song onstage at the "30A Songwriter Festival".
