"Gazeuse! (French for 'Sparkling!', 'Fizzy!' or 'Effervescent!') is the seventh album released under the name Gong and the de facto debut album by Pierre Moerlen's Gong. It was released in late 1976. The title was changed to Expresso for the U.S. release." - Wikipedia
+ a few of my favorite obsessions: Howard Beale (Peter Finch) from the 1976 film Network, and you are not alone from UFO by Nina Hagen (NunSexMonkRock, 1982)
Based in Geneva, Switzerland, the Orchestre Tout Puissant Marcel Duchamp is a large-scale orchestral project. “We're OK. But We're Lost Anyway,” the fifth album of the band, features 12 musicians creating a repetitive, trancelike music. “Mixing free jazz, post punk, high life, brass band, symphonic mixtures and kraut rock, their sound only goes beyond the limits of genre. Transcendental, almost ritualistic, the music is coupled with powerful lyrics, declaimed in rage against a world that is falling apart.” Their name is an homage to traditional African orchestral groups and French artist Marcel Duchamp.
“Three Lobed Recordings is a boutique record label that specializes in all flavors of psychedelia. The label was started in 2000 and is largely operated by cats.”
