Gimme Dat Harp Boy [from sessions for the planned 2-LP "It Comes to You in a Plain Brown Wrapper" *]
This song first appeared in a re-recorded version on Captain Beefheart's second album, 'Strictly Personal' (Oct 1968, Blue Thumb Records). So - the second version was released 24 years before the original version!?!? // * - so that the track listing on the 1992 CD, is somewhat closer to Beefheart's original concept, which was cut down for 'The Mirror Man' album - recordings from the fall of 1967 that weren't released until April 1971 (Buddah).
