Kal David, born as 'David Raskin', died Aug 16, at age 79. He was a member of Chicago groups 'Kal David And The Exceptions', then "The Rovin' Kind" (w/Paul Cotton, later in Poco), which turned into Illinois Speed Press. He then joined The Fabulous Rhinestones, with ex-Electric Flag bassist Harvey Brooks and ex-Buckinghams' keyboard player Marty Grebb, with 3 LPs released from 1972 to 1975.
