Hampton B. Coles was the alias of Col. Bruce Hampton, later of the Aquarium Rescue Unit. Why would he not want this amazing album under his real name? I don't know. The album was re-released under Hampton's real name in 2000.

I've always figured Rhinoceros has to be a reference to the absurdist play by Eugene Ionesco.
