John Cooper Clarke is an English performance poet, who got hooked up with the punk scene in the late 1970's & became known as a punk poet. He has released many albums, & is still writing & performing.
formed in 1981 by high school students in Milwaukee WI , the were originally the Couch Potatoes, they played their first gigs with paper bags over their heads while wearing pajamas.
