Next, in tribute to my friend Chris "The Electrician" Bruce, who recently passed away. Chris was well known in the psychedelic, progressive, and "Deadhead" music communities in this area. Local radio listeners in the late '80s and '90s may remember him frequently filling in on "Psychedelic Regressions" and "No Commercial Potential" on WZBC, and occasionally on "Lost & Found" here on WMBR. Chris was an accomplished sound and recording engineer, whose album credits include the band Zero featuring Steve Kimock and the late John Cipollina. He also worked on tours with British progressive band Hawkwind among many others, and helped put together benefit concerts and events locally for Grateful Dead family sponsored charities such as SEVA and the Rex Foundation.
