............ The first four songs of the next set are for KIM GARDNER, born today in 1948 (Dulwhich, London, England)/ died 10-24-2001. He was bass player for British Invasion groups the Birds (Ron Wood's 1st recorded group), a later version of The Creation in 1967-68 (also w/ Wood), and the short-lived supergroup Santa Barbara Machine Head also with Wood, plus Jon Lord of Deep Purple. After The Creation broke up, Gardner joined with Tony Ashton and Roy Dyke to form Ashton, Gardner & Dyke, a jazz-rock band that in 1971 had a hit single "Resurrection Shuffle".
